Gull Rock Trail - Starts at the end of the Porcupine Campground by the parking area. Moderate to difficult for bikes, fairly easy 5-mile (one way) hike with an elevation gain and loss of 700 feet. Hope Point Trail - Starts at the entrance of Porcupine Campground and climbs 2.5 miles up a relatively treeless ridge ("Baldy") to 3900 foot Mt. Hope. This trail is not maintained and is steep and rocky in places. Mountain goats, bears and moose can be seen at various times. Spectacular views of Turnagain Arm and Hope's valley.

Wagon Road - Starts across the paved road from the Discovery Cafe and runs about one mile, connecting to Resurrection Road. Bikes, hikers, skiers and snowmachines use this trail.

Resurrection Creek Trail - The Hope trailhead starts 5 miles up the Resurrection Road. It's about 38 miles of forested and alpine terrain to the trailhead on the Sterling Highway in Cooper Landing. Elevation gain and loss of about 2000 feet. Moderate biking conditions. Forest Service cabins available for rent by calling, (907) 271-2599.

Clear water, lush vegetation and high canyon walls; combined with some of the most challenging whitewater in North America. This creek has three canyon segments, the first two of which are a challenging Class IV and a good warmup for the third and most challenging Class V. We offer two trips: the first two canyons or all three. Included is all necessary personal gear, including neoprene dry suits.
