Library Gift Shop
Located in the Hope Chest next door to the library and featuring nothing but locally made and Alaskan crafts. Open everyday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The log museum is across the road from the Hope Post Officemuseum2.jpg (14930 bytes) in the old town site. The exhibits recall the Turnagain Arm Gold Rush of 1896-1899 and Hope's quiet maturity. Photographs depict bustling Hope City and Sunrise City. There are many (golden) stories of colorful Hope people. The museum gift shop sells books and maps. On the museum grounds are the original Canyon Creek Mine buildings. Admission is free and donations always welcome.
